Please Note: All of our soaps are made with lye. Lye, a natural substance derived from wood ash, is essential in the soap-making process. Once the soap has fully saponified and cured for 4-6 weeks, no lye remains—just a firm, long-lasting bar with a rich, luxurious lather. This curing process also allows excess moisture to evaporate, creating a gentler, harder bar.
